October 12, 2009Luoghi comuni /little migrating stories with Autoguidovie: a journey through the province of Milan. From the beginning of October
Luoghi comuni/little migrating stories travels for two months on 600
Autoguidovie's buses, the extra-urban public transportation network of Milan's South-East area and of the provinces of Cremona, Bergamo, Brescia, Reggio Emilia.
Luoghi comuni/little migrating stories, initiative launched on Milan's public transport in May 2009, is an anthology
collecting short stories written by first and second generations migrants. The authors are men and women of different age, coming from 21 different countries.
These stories are written on small posters hanging on the buses. It is possible to remove them and to bring home words and emotions, in Italian and in original language. Everyone is invited to participate with his/her personal story by writing to
luoghicomuni@lettera27.org. These new voices will join the original nucleus and will travel to other Italian cities on other means of transportation, in other common-places.
